WORK to investigate and repair a leaking roof on Redesdale Hall, in Moreton, has been agreed by town councillors.
The building, which is owned by the council and run by the Redesdale Hall Management Committee, is high and Moreton Town Council, responsible for the fabric of the building, has approached a roofing company with extra large cherry picker-type equipment to investigate and repair the fault.
It is suspected that the leak may be coming through the old lead work around the wooden framework of the clock tower.
The work is expected to cost £1,180.
