TWO men have been arrested following an assault in Chipping Norton town centre when two police officers and a woman were assaulted.
Thames Valley Police said between 9.50pm and 10pm on Saturday January 30 officers were called to a disorder incident in the town centre.
A woman was assaulted and two police officers received head and hand injuries. All three victims were treated at hospital and later discharged.
Two 19-year-old men were arrested on suspicion of public order offences and assaulting a constable. They were bailed until March 8.
and a 51-year-old man from Oxfordshire were arrested in connection with the incident.
The 51–year-old was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a constable and has been bailed until February 13.
Police are seeking witnesses to the incident. Anyone with information is asked to ring Thames Valley Police on 101.
