A DRIVER who admitted driving her VW Polo while over the alcohol limit has been banned from driving for 14 months and fined £500.
Helen Pike, 35, of Nethercote Drive, Bourton-on-the-Water, had driven her car along the A436 road near the village on December 2 with 55 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
Pike pleaded guilty to the offence at Cheltenham Magistrates Court on December 21.
She was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £50, costs of £85 and a criminal courts charge of £150.
