A BANK in Moreton-in-Marsh has raised £600 for the Chipping Norton branch of Riding for the Disabled.

The money was raised by TSB through a bingo event held on Saturday (October 3) and will be used to purchase riding hats for disabled children.

Caroline Street, branch manager at TSB in Moreton-in-Marsh, said: “Riding for the Disabled is a vital part of our local community and we’re really proud to have them as our local charity partner.

“Our team in Moreton-in-Marsh have worked hard putting in a lot of time and dedication to make this bingo a success. We have really enjoyed our bingo and it is fantastic to know the difference that our efforts will make.

“A huge thank you to all the businesses and customers that made donations, the Stow Social Club for the use of its facilities, all the volunteers that helped on the night and everyone who supported us - it was a great success".

Chris Paxford, vice-chairman at Riding for the Disabled, added: “We are hugely grateful to TSB and its local partners in Moreton-in-Marsh. The money they are raising and the general support we’re getting is helping us to deliver really important services in Moreton-in-Marsh.

"Having major businesses like TSB supporting us locally is a great way of making our community stronger.”
