A TWELVE-year-old boy suffered bruising after being hit by a car in Moreton.
Gloucestershire Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident which occurred a month ago outside Budgens supermarket.
The boy was on the pavement when he was hit on the leg by a silver Mercedes car which was being driven very close to the pavement. The boy suffered bruising and discomfort.
It is believed the Mercedes car was a two-door vehicle with a driver and a passenger inside who may have been arguing at the time. The driver of the car failed to stop.
The incident occurred on August 1 at around 3.40pm and police have now asked the public to see if they can help officers trace the driver.
Anyone with information is asked to contact 101 with incident number 361 of August 1. People can also give information anonymously by contacting the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via www.crimestoppers-uk.org
