VISITORS to a popular Cotswolds attraction later this month are being invited to step through the looking glass to celebrate the 150th birthday of children’s classic Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.

Sudeley Castle and Gardens near Winchcombe will be transported down the rabbit hole at a special event on Sunday, July 26 themed around the Lewis Carroll’s classic tale.

From 10am until 4pm curious characters will roam the castle while visitors enjoy a tea cup ride, themed props, and a gyroscope and a host of other surprises.

Visitor services manager Sian Jocelyn the celebration was set to be one of the most exciting events held at the castle at the this year.

“Alice in Wonderland creates a wonderful world of excitement and colour, and we can’t wait to see people’s faces when they enter our very own Sudeley Wonderland,” she said.

“We expect this to be a popular event and encourage all to come along for a fantastic family day out.”
