DURHAM Farm Riding School, near Chastleton, is holding an open day on Saturday June 27 to help raise money for a sensitive dog for a young child with diabetes.
The riding school is organising stalls, a raffle, dog show and taster sessions for anyone who wants to have a go at riding.
The cost of a 'hypo alert' dog that can tell when a child needs insulin costs around £6,600. The recipient, six-year-old Eve Roberts hopes to be able to have her dog in July.
The open day takes place between 11am and 4pm.
