Marie Curie community fundraier Sami Jones and Daffy take tea with George the giant tortoise
ANIMALS at Cotswold Wildlife Park found themselves in the middle of a tea party as Marie Curie fundraisers popped over to enjoy a cuppa in the sunshine.
The Blooming Great Tea Party for Marie Curie nurses raises funds for the care of terminally ill people in their own homes.
Rebecca Dade, community fundraiser for Gloucestershire said: “Our tea party hosts had a fantastic time organising their event and enjoying tea and cakes with their friends, while knowing that every cup of tea and slice of cake will help Marie Curie Nurses provide more free care to terminally ill people in Gloucestershire.”
In the meantime, George the giant tortoise took all the fuss in his stride
