SAILOR in the Desert, an account of the Royal Navy fighting the Turks up the River Tigris in 1915 by Shipston author David Gunn is to be published by Istanbul based Isbank Culture Publishing.
Based on memoirs of the author’s sailor father, the English language edition has been published by Pen & Sword who Isbank approached to buy the Turkish Language Rights.
