ENTREPRENEURIAL vision and acumen was in plentiful supply when Chipping Campden Business Forum hosted the town's second annual business awards from the town hall.

Three weeks of nominations to the forum website produced a list of nominees who had to impress judges on all levels of criteria including growth potential and sustainability, impact on Chipping Campden, number of local people employed, its example to other businesses in an ambassadorial role and its innovation and originality within its own market place and the town.

More than 50 local businesses attended the awards presentation in the presence of Chipping Campden town mayor Councillor Chris Jones and Lyndon Stowe, leader of Cotswold District Council.

The judges were made up of a panel of local business experts including Sig Ramseyer and Nick West while Lee Cox and Penny Lindner represented last year's winner, Robert Welch.

The 2014 category winners were: Overall Business Of The Year - Campden BRI; New Business Of The Year - Red Lemon; High Street Business Of The Year - The Chef's Dozen and Chipping Campden School Business Student Of The Year - Henry Johnson.
