A MAN who died in a supermarket in Worcester has been named as Craig Addison.

One of 33-year-old Mr Addison's friends called him "one of the most unforgettable people in my life" in a touching online tribute.

An inquest into the death of Mr Addison, who lived in St Paul's Hostel in the city, was officially opened yesterday.

His body was found in the toilets at the store in Swanpool Walk on Thursday morning.

Dozens of comments have been left on Mr Addison's Facebook page by friends and family paying their respects.

Stuart Colley posted: "Craig, without doubt one of the most unforgettable people in my life.

"We shared so many great times together and you made me laugh through pretty much every one of them...

"So many memories, can't believe that your gone, I'm gonna miss you bro x"

Michael Bingham commented: "My mate, my rude, my best buddy. Rest in peace mate i will love you forever.

"Been crying for the last 12 hours since I had the worst news of my life but know you will be at peace up high in the sky.

"Until we meet again...

"Bros for life in this world or the next. Remember I am always by your side."

St Paul's Hostel released the following statement: "Craig was a well-known visitor to St Paul's over a number of years.

"Many of our staff supported Craig as he tried to overcome the difficulties in his life.

"We will remember Craig as a unique person who wanted to change his life for the better.

"We extend our prayers to his family and friends."

Sainsbury's has come in for criticism after it became apparent Mr Addison was lay in the toilet cubicle overnight.

He was found at 6.38am on Thursday.

However, the retail giant chose not to comment on the criticism of its staff, and said it had nothing further to add to a statement made on Friday.
