A SPATE of catalytic converter thefts has taken place in Moreton.

Gloucestershire Police are investigating the spate of thefts, which have targeted 4x4 vehicles.

Four separate vehicles were targeted by thieves during the night of Sunday, September 28, and the early hours of Monday, September 29.

Also, in a separate incident, a catalytic converter was stolen from a 4x4 parked on the forecourt of Troopers Lodge Garage, Moreton, on Saturday, October 4.

CCTV shows two males taking the converter around 11.20pm.

During that time three cars drove past on the A44 in the Moreton to Evesham direction.

Police are appealing for witnesses who may have seen a vehicle parked near this location at the time or the crime itself taking place.

Officers would also like to hear from anyone who has information about the other thefts.
