SHIPSTON Loyalty Card is marking its third birthday by offering discount deals, rewards and prizes to its 2,000 cardholders, all designed to attract more people to shop in the Cotswold town.

Three new businesses have joined the Loyalty Card scheme and will be running exclusive offers for cardholders for the first time. Food Tree, El Café and new restaurant, The White Bear Kitchen, have all signed up to the Loyalty Card, meaning customers will be able to take advantage of rewards across the three eateries from mid-September. They join existing participating shops Ivy Heart, Taste of the Country, Lucy Walker Flowers, Rightons butchers, Sheldons Wine Cellars, Niche and the North Cotswold Brewery.

Throughout September, shops within the scheme will be running special cardholder offers featuring the number three, from three for the price of two offers to triple loyalty points. Offers will change throughout the month so cardholders are being encouraged to keep any eye on www.facebook.com/ShipstonCard for the latest deals, or follow @Shipstoncard on twitter.

As a thank you for shopping locally, all cardholders will be entered into a prize draw to win a selection of goodies donated by local traders. The draw will take place on September 30.

Loyalty Card administrator and local trader, Kate King, said: “We are delighted to welcome El Café, Food Tree and The White Bear Kitchen to our scheme in time to share in our birthday celebrations. We have also received interest from other traders in the town and look forward to expanding the scheme further. With more shops participating, cardholders can benefit from a greater range of discounts and rewards which helps keep our town centre thriving.”
