GREEN-fingered pupils at St David's Primary School in Moreton have been busy improving the school grounds during the summer term.
Working closely with Chipping Campden Secondary School, Year 4 students were taught new DT skills from Year 12 students as part of a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) project.
Pupils were given new opportunities to use specialised equipment in DT classrooms and produced some bird boxes that will be hung in the wildlife garden in the grounds of St David's.
Mr Rhys, DT subject leader, said: "The project between Campden and St David’s has enabled many of our pupils to experience and learn new skills which they would never have had access to.
"We will now see the bird boxes hung in our garden and hopefully, in time, they will become inhabited by wildlife that we will be able to observe.
"Not only that, but the children have been given a snap shot of what life in a busy secondary school is like.’
