A HOST of famous faces took the pitch in Chipping Norton for a charity golf day and gala dinner.
The Cotswolds Club held the fundraiser on June 25 followed by a gala dinner in the evening which raised £6,000 for Sri Lankan charity , the Foundation of Goodness.
Teams got the chance to play with sporting celebrities including George Digweed MBE, John Francome, Declan Murphy, Carl Llewllyn, Mark Ramprakash, Ed Giddins (auctioneering) Gladstone Small, Robert Key and Derek Randall.
About 150 guests attended the event, which was held at the club’s new marquee, recently built for events and weddings.
There was a shotgun start, followed by a gala dinner with auction and a question and answer session with the celebrities.
Bright shirts worn by the famous sportsmen were donated by company Mutts Nuts and £5 was given to charity with every shirt sold.
