STAFF and pupils at Stow Primary School are celebrating after receiving a glowing report from Ofsted.
In an inspection carried out last month, inspector John Eadie rated the school in St Edward's Drive as 'good' in all areas.
Praising the school, he said: "Pupils achieve well and make good progress in all year groups. Their progress is particularly rapid in reading and mathematics."
His report also said pupils leave the school having reached "above average standards in reading, writing and mathematics" and praised their behaviour and safety.
Teachers were also singled out for being "particularly good at planning for the range of ages and abilities in their classes".
Headteacher Rebecca Scutt said they were really pleased with the report.
"The governors are really pleased and the parents have been delighted," she said. "It's just a positive report. I've been here for three Ofsteds and every time it's be resoundingly good. I'm very happy with the school."
