A MAN whose plans to build three new homes in Moreton were refused by planners is taking his case to appeal.
Cotswold District Council's planning committee threw out the plans to demolish an existing house and garage to make way for three new homes at Sunlock, Evenlode Road, at its meeting on June 11.
Members went against the officer's recommendation for approval on the grounds of over development, excessive scale, cramped appearance and felt it was out of character with the area and had a lack of amenity space.
The plans by Nathan Clarke had attracted six letters of objection and one in support along with strong opposition from the town council.
