A DENTIST is branching out by opening his second Cotswold practice and creating six jobs.

Dr Ross Cutts, who has been practice principal at Cirencester Dental Practice for four years, opened a sister practice in Talbot Court, Sheep Street, Stow, on June 2.

He has taken on three part-time experienced dentists to work in the new practice along with nurses and receptionists and will work there himself one day a week.

Dr Cutts, who has been a dentist for 12 years, is an expert in dental implants and cosmetic dentistry and works as a visiting implantologist at three practices in London.

The Stow practice offers everything from general dentistry up to complicated aesthetic reconstruction and patients can also get implants, crowns, bridges, veneers along with botox, fillers and teeth whitening.

“We decided to open a sister branch to our existing practice to provide Stow and the surrounding area with the comprehensive services that we currently offer at Cirencester," said Dr Cutts. "It also allows us to expand our dental implant referral catchment area.

"I like Stow as a place, it's a nice market town. It just seemed like the right place to open a sister branch."

Working with NatWest relationship manager, Jennifer Scott, who specialises in the healthcare sector, Dr Cutts managed to secure funding under the Government’s Funding For Lending scheme while bank loans were used to develop leasehold premises and paid for furniture, software and marketing.

“NatWest helped me initially with the practice in Cirencester and Jennifer has seen how I have grown my business and was confident to fund me again to do the next project," said Dr Cutts.

"People are getting to know we are here and are walking in or phoning and booking appointments. Everything is good."
