Woman who died in crash named

A WOMAN who died in a crash in Alderminster has been named by police.

Anna-Marie Karakas, of Priors Grange, Salford Priors, died in the collision on the A3400 on Saturday, June 7.

The 39-year-old was driving a white BMW at the time of the crash which happened near to the Ettington Park Hotel at about 8.45pm and involved a silver Vauxhall Corsa.

The female driver of the Corsa was injured and taken to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire for treatment.

PC Ben Johnson, in Rugby OPU, said he would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or saw either of the vehicles and the manner in which they were being driven before the collision occurred.
