POLICE are trying to trace drivers who may have witnesses a hit and run near Shipston - and a man who walked off with some keys.
The crash happened at about 11am on the A429 Fosse Way near the T junction for Darlingscote and Ilmington on Monday.
The female driver of a silver Ford Focus, travelling from Moreton, swerved to avoid an overtaking vehicle coming towards her and lost control of the vehicle.
The car went through a hedge and rolled into a field and the 63-year-old driver suffered cuts and bruises.
PC Su Sumners would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident, and in particular the driver of a dark coloured pick up truck.
She would also like to hear from a man who went to the assistance of the driver, switched off the car ignition and seems to have inadvertently walked off with the keys.
Anyone with information can contact PC Sumners at Warwickshire Police on 101, by emailing su.sumners@warwickshire.pnn or contact the collision helpline on 01926 415415.
