THE conservatives topped the polls in the Stratford District in the European Elections.
Last Thursday's election saw the party win with 14,593 votes, followed by UKIP with 11,417 and the Liberal Democrats with 4,250.
The results mean UKIP have three MEPs in the West Midlands region, while the conservatives and Labour have two apiece.
Meanwhile in West Oxfordshire, the Conservatives also topped the polls for the South East Region with 11,851 votes followed by UKIP with 7,692, Labour with 3,925 votes and the Green Party with 3,295.
