PART of the A46 near Evesham will be closed overnight for resurfacing and repair work.
The Highways Agency is to carry out overnight resurfacing work at Beckford from Tuesday, May 20.
The three-night scheme at Cross Hill View Cottages at the junction of Station Road also includes replacing road markings and studs along the 600-metre section and will require a full closure of the A46 between the junctions of Back Lane and Beckford Road.
The work will be carried out from 8pm to 6am and traffic will be diverted along the A44, B4362 and B4077 to rejoin the A46 at Teddington Hands Roundabout, or vice versa.
Richard Gulliver, Highways Agency Project Manager, said: “For the safety of the travelling public and our workforce it is necessary to close the road while we carry out this work.
"We advise people to allow extra time for their journeys.”
