PLANT lovers will be in their element later this month when a secret Cotswold garden opens its doors to the public.
Barton House, in Barton-on-the-Heath, near Moreton, will be open on Sunday, May 25 from 2pm to 6pm as part of the The National Gardens Scheme (NGS) which raises money for nursing and caring charities.
The six-and-a-half acre garden offers free wine tasting in the vineyard, a 550-year-old Spanish Chestnut tree and many rare trees along with a secret garden.
Admission is £5 for adults and free for children. Visitors are also welcome by appointment from spring to autumn.
