THE daily life of a Cotswold estate agent has been put under the spotlight in a new BBC2 series.

Mark Annett, of Mark Annett & Company in Chipping Campden, is featuring on two episodes of Under Offer: Estate Agents on the Job.

The programme follows the highs and lows of the estate agents that broker the biggest purchases most people will ever make.

Mr Annett, whose first of two shows aired last Wednesday, is set to appear again on Wednesday at 8pm.

Filming took place between July and Christmas last year and shows him looking at properties in Campden, Broad Campden, Saintbury, Paxford, Ebrington and Blockley.

"It's a bit of fun," he said. "It's quite interesting really all the different characters and areas we operate in. I thought Campden looked lovely and I felt the filming they did with Campden as the backdrop and the North Cotswold countryside around the area made this part of the world look really nice.

"That's got to be good for the area. It showed it off beautifully. "

Mr Annett, who has featured on television in the past on news programmes discussing the property market, said he had not done anything like this before.

"I think it's good for the business profile and it was quite fun doing," he added. "Not everybody, clients or vendors, wanted to be filmed. We had to be a bit careful how we dealt with that.

"It was good fun, we enjoyed it."
