CHILDREN at a nursery near Shipston have been enjoying strolling through their forest school to see the daffodils in full bloom.

Youngsters at Winchcombe Farm Day Nursery, in Upper Tysoe, have started a project about life cycles and spring, which will see them hatching chicken eggs, studying plant life cycles and watching frogspawn turn into frogs.

Rachel Giorgio, Winchcombe Farm Day Nursery Manager, said: “The daffodils are in colourful array this year and look quite magnificent.

"Nursery children planted the bulbs some time ago and we are planting some more this year, along with some tulip bulbs in jam jars so the children can see how the roots grow.”
