Emergency services called to crash near Stow

FIVE children and an adult were taken to the minor injuries unit after a crash near Stow.

South Western Ambulance Service was called at 9.40am yesterday (Monday) to the A424 Stow to Burford Road, Church Westcote, after a car left the road and hit a tree.

Four ambulance crews attended along with two fire crews from Stow and the police.

Firefighters assisted one male child who was uninjured, from the car and made the vehicle safe by disconnecting the battery.

They were all taken to the Banbury Minor Injuries Unit to be checked over.
