COURSES to help people struggling with sleep problems, low mood, stress and anxiety, anger and emotional wellbeing, will begin in the Cotswolds later this month.

The free NHS courses are being provided by Let’s Talk, which is part of 2gether NHS Foundation Trust, and are taking place at venues including George Moore Community Clinic, in Bourton, and North Cotswold Hospital, in Moreton.

Bookings for the courses, which each last between five and eight weeks, can be taken over the phone or online.

Joanne Myers, Psychological Therapist with Let’s Talk, said there was a course to suit a wide range of common mental wellbeing issues.

“One in four of us is struggling with our mental wellbeing at any given time, whether we have depression, anxiety, low mood or other similar conditions," she said.

“Our courses are both psychological and educational, so they teach you the skills to overcome the issues you are dealing with and also to manage your condition into the future.

“People who have previously come on our courses find them extremely beneficial and we look forward to starting our Cotswold courses in a few weeks time.”
