BLOCKLEY Parish Council is organising a parish wide Spring Clean over two weekends.
A significant number of residents are set to be involved in this annual event which is taking place this Saturday and Saturday, April 12.
The spruce up is taking place in one of the most widely spread out parishes in the country, and includes not only Blockley but also Draycott, Paxford, Aston Magna and Ditchford.
And Cotswold District Council is loaning the equipment and providing the rubbish bags needed to make it a successful project.
Councillor Margaret Bryan, Chairman of the Parish Council, said "Our parish has always had a strong sense of community and it is satisfying to see many people working together to keep it a beautiful place to live, work and visit."
