LEADING artists from Warwickshire will be show casing and selling their work at a contemporary affordable art fair in Chipping Campden.

The four-day fair, organised by the Association of Midland Artists, kicks off in the town hall on Friday, April 4 and is open every day from 10am to 5.30pm until Monday.

On display will be fine art paintings, prints, sculpture, photographs, jewellery, textiles and ceramics and there is also the chance to discuss pieces of interest with the artists to learn more about the various processes.

Katharine Barker, a textile artist and painter, said: “I am thrilled we are organising this fair in Chipping Camden, with its all its wonderful atmosphere and history of involvement in Arts and Crafts.

"It promises to be something special for the artists and the town to enjoy.”

Julia Hayes,Chairman of the Association of Midland Artists, said: “We normally only organise exhibitions and talks, so this is a first.

"We are coming out of our studios and the galleries and going direct to the public – It’s exciting!It means we can actually discuss our work with people.”
