POLICE are currently dealing with an incident involving a vulnerable person on Pershore Bridge.

A spokesman for West Mercia Police confirmed they had been called about a concern for the person's safety and a "fair amount" of police resources were on the scene at the B4084 in Pershore.

The initial call to the police came in at about 11.30am and eye witness reports have reported police, ambulance and fire crews are at the location along with rescue boats.
