IT was all smiles at a Cotswold playgroup after it received a generous donation from Warner’s Budgens in Moreton.
The voluntary-run Moreton Playgroup, which has a number of children with special needs on its books, received £423 from the store’s Community Savings Scheme to buy new sensory play and discovery equipment.
The collection of items will include tactile toys, musical instruments and creative games to stimulate the senses.
Nicola Rolton play leader said: “These toys will benefit all of our children. As a charity, we are limited to what we can buy so we are delighted to be able to widen the scope of these types of toys which will give all of the children so much enjoyment.”
Store owner, Guy Warner, presented the cheque to Mo Jeffcock and Sarah Dyer from the playgroup, which will cover the costs of the new items.
