THE Oscar and BAFTA nominated film Philomena is the latest film to be shown at the Campden Rural Cinema.

It is based on the true story of Philomena Lee’s 50-year long search for her lost son after he was given away for adoption by the nuns from the convent where she was forced to work in the laundry.

The screening is on Friday, March 28 in the town hall at 8pm. Tickets are £4 and are available from the Tourist Information Centre or on the door.
