A WOMAN was taken to hospital after crashing into a hedge near Shipston.
Warwickshire Police were called at 11.08am today (Thursday) to Mickleton Road, Ilmington, along with fire crews from Shipston and Stratford.
A red Nissan Juke, driven by a 43-year-old woman, had left the road and ended up in a hedge.
The woman was trapped - mainly because the car was wedged in the hedge - and had to be rescued by the fire service.
West Midlands Ambulance also attended and took the woman to Warwick Hospital with suspected chest injuries.
