POLICE are continuing to appeal for witness after charity boxes containing hundreds of pounds for good causes were stolen in a spate of burglaries at three Cotswold pubs.

The break-ins took place over two days at the New Inn, in Willersey, The Baker's Arms, Broad Campden, and The Butcher's Arms, Mickleton.

So far police have not received any calls from the public about the burglaries which took place between 11.45pm on Friday, February 7 and 9am on Saturday, February 8.

Chris Jackson, Gloucestershire Police spokesman, said they were still appealing for witnesses.

"If anyone did see anything or has heard anything should call us on 101," he said.
