DEVELOPER McCarthy & Stone is proposing to redevelop a site in Bourton with retirement living accommodation,
The new homes are intended for the former Pulhams Coaches site, in Station Road, which is currently vacant, following the relocation of the coach depot to larger premises in the Bourton Business Park.
Residents and community representatives will get the opportunity to meet individually with the project team to discuss the early proposals.
A public exhibition will also be held in the coming months, with dates still to be confirmed.
Lorena Brown, of McCarthy & Stone, said: “We’re keen to develop a scheme which positively contributes to the local community both through the high-quality, attractive design and the increase in local housing choice the development would bring to the area.”
A spokesman added: "McCarthy & Stone believe that Bourton is an area where there is a local need for this type of accommodation for older people.
"In addition, occupants typically looking to ease the burden of maintaining a large property would allow these homes to become available on the market for younger families."
