A MAN had to be cut from his car following a two-car crash near Bourton.
Police and paramedics were called at about 7.40am on Friday to the A429 following the crash involving
a yellow Vauxhall Corsa driven by a 26-year-old man from Cirencester and a white Vauxhall Insignia registered to Redditch.
The driver of the Corsa was trapped in his vehicle and had to be cut out by officers from Gloucestershire Fire Service.
He was taken to Gloucester Royal Hospital suffering with a back injury.
The driver of the Vauxhall Insignia did not require medical treatment but was treated at the scene by South Western Ambulance Service for minor injuries.
The road was partially blocked for about two-and-a-half hours and was fully cleared by about 10am.
