THE North Cotswold branch of the Royal Air Forces Association (RAFA) raised more than £10,000 for the Wings Appeal in 2013.
And for the second year running, the branch has won the coveted Cup for raising the most money for the Wings Appeal, per capita of the branch membership.
John Sermon, of the branch, said: "Thanks must go firstly to Keith Maule for his stupendous effort, aided and abetted by those members and friends who have joined him collecting all year round at various venues in the district and also to the Branch for supporting him so ably."
The Cup is to be prepresented at an upcoming meeting.
The branch is also planning an exhibition in Chipping Campden Town Hall, on Saturday, August 2 to Monday August 4 to commemorate the start of the First World War.
