A farm park for disabled children in Chipping Norton is re-opening earlier than planning this year due to popular demand.

Fairytale Farm, which is on the A44 just outside Chippy, will be open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from through until March.

Owner Nicola Laister said she has been surprised by the attraction’s popularity since it was opened by Prime Minister David Cameron in June last year.

“Visitors are telling us that they would like to be able to visit the farm throughout the winter, and lots of people have been turning up at the farm to find us closed,” he said.

“We have therefore decided to pilot winter openings through to the end of March.

“All the attractions will be open as normal, and our land drains very well so we will not have any issues with standing water or significant mud. We believe it will be a great winter day out."
