A PHOTO has been issued in the hunt for a 72-year-old Hereford man who has not been seen for almost two weeks.
Austin Brooks was last seen at his home in Marlow Drive on Sunday, December 22 and was reported missing the next day.
Police said he is considered vulnerable due to his age and state of mind.
Mr Brooks is described as a white man, five foot eight inches tall with grey hair which is balding on top. He always uses with a walking stick. Sergeant Emma Freer from Hereford Police Station urged anyone who may have seen him to contact police on 101.
“Both his family and police are very concerned for his welfare,” she said.
“Mr Brooks had recently been in hospital and his green Ford Focus car (registration number Y518 MNM) was found close to Hereford rugby club on Monday 23 December.
“Officers have searched the area near the River Wye but current weather conditions are making the search more difficult.”
