THERE were smiles all round at Ebrington School after £10,000 was raised to go towards updated IT equipment.
Generous supporters raised £7,771 at a charity auction and Ruth and Colin Flack from Motorail UK, who helped run the event topped up the amount raised with a donation bringing to total up to £10,000.
The auction was held at the Ebrington Arms, near Chipping Campden, on Sunday and was a resounding success.
Landlady Claire Alexander said: “The support we received is testament to the amazing schooling the children get at Ebrington.
“I would really like to thank all of the parents, pub regulars and local businesses who supported the event by coming along and donating such amazing items for us to raffle.
“It was a lovely reminder about how appreciated our village school is.”
