SHOPPERS looking for unusual and pretty gifts this Christmas can find something at a new exhibition in Winchcombe.

For the last few months, crafty folk and artists have been working on glass necklaces, wintry wildlife pictures, animal-shaped jugs and quirky felt doorstops for a new Christmas exhibition, Presents Of Delight, at the Winds of Change gallery.

Pershore-based glass artist, Lisa Sheppey, has a collection of awards for her work, and has created pretty glass chokers, framed work, and plant markers for the collection.

There is also useful but appealing ceramics from Alice Shepherd and Moreton creator Elisabeth Edwards.

Jane Smoczynski, gallery owner, said: “I’ve had some lovely work come in for the Presents Of Delight exhibition, some of which has not been shown anywhere else.”

The exhibition opens on Saturday and runs until Friday, December 20 in the High Street.

Opening hours are Tuesday to Saturday 10am to 5pm.
