High Street store is having £560,000 refurbishment
SHIPSTON’S larger High Street Co-operative is closing for two weeks for a £560,000 refurbishment.
As the refurbishment gets underway, the store will be closed from tomorrow and will re-open on Thursday, November 7.
Shoppers can look forward to an increased range of premium Truly Irresistible products along with an improved range of fresh and chilled produce.
Co-op also said there will be an increased range of fine wines and a wider choice of ready meals.
Alan Ridley, store manager, said: “Shipston residents are passionate about their food and our new-look Co-operative Food store will certainly reflect this.
“The store will be packed with great-value, quality products and modern and interesting meal ideas that, while quick and easy to put together, are sure to impress.
“We understand that closing the store for this time may inconvenience some of our loyal customers, but it is a measure we have to take in order to deliver a Co-operative Food store that really suits the needs of people that live and work in and around Shipston.”
The smaller high street store will remain open.
