Raise a glass to beer fest

PUNTERS can charge their glasses and toast the sixth annual North Cotswold Beer Festival taking place this weekend.
The festival, organised by the North Cotswold CAMRA at Moreton Cricket Club, Batsford Road, takes place tomorrow from 1pm to 11pm and Saturday from noon to 11pm.
There will be 40 real ales, ciders and perries on offer along with a wide range of hot and cold food including breakfasts and a pig roast.
Entertainment includes live music from Worried Men and Zool.
Pubs officer Martyn Herbert said: “It’s the sixth year of the Moreton festival. It’s been very popular which both locals and people from further afield.
“There will be entertainment for young people of all ages with a good range of beers sourced from all over the country and plenty of camping facilities and ample parking.”
The cost for people camping in caravans and vans is £6 and tents £4 per night and admission to the festival is £3 each day.
Card-carrying CAMRA members will get a free drink voucher.
