POLLY Gowers set up her thriving Evesham-based technology business over eight years ago with the aim of increasing donation to charities.
Everyclick Ltd, which started in a humble garden shed, gives online shoppers the opportunity to support their favourite charities just by shopping online.
To date Everyclick has raised £3.8 million for thousands of UK charities and the business is growing rapidly.
Polly Gowers, CEO at Everyclick, said: “I wanted to use technology to help charities fund-raise.
“There are endless opportunities for charities to raise money online but they need help to access them and I wanted to assist with this.
“Evesham was the perfect place to base ourselves as we’re able to connect with people from all around the UK with world-class retailers and any size of charity using cutting edge technology while being in such a great rural community.”
The primary product – giveasyoulive.com – enables shoppers to generate funds for their favourite charity just by shopping online with leading retailers.
Everyclick has relationships with more than 2,500 retailers ranging from ASOS to Amazon. Shoppers can support any one of the 200,000 UK charities with every purchase they make, without it costing them an extra penny as the retailer makes the donation on their behalf.
Polly added: “We are very lucky to have found great technical, creative, marketing and sales people who love working in Evesham.
“We may be based behind a mushroom factory on an industrial estate, but it doesn’t stop us being high tech and working with some of the biggest brands in the world!”
Polly has found that having a clear plan, great people and a strong and determined attitude has stood her business in good stead and made it the success it is today.
The company has new charities, retailers and shoppers joining all the time and is growing fast. For more information on Everyclick Ltd, go to giveasyoulive.com
