A SWARM of gigantic creepy crawlies have swept into Batsford Arboretum and intend to stay for the entire month of August.
But visitors have nothing to fear from the insects which have been strategically placed around the extensive grounds of the arboretum near Moreton as part of the Big Batsford Bug Hunt.
Youngsters on their summer holidays have been getting their detective hats on to track down the big beetles and shocking stick insects with a magnifying glass in hand.
And any budding David Attenboroughs who manage to locate eight of the 20 hidden plastic bugs, and mark them on the map provided, will be handed a goodie bag as a reward.
The Big Batsford Bug Hunt runs until Saturday, August 31, and is available daily from 10am- 5pm for £1.50 per child plus the general entry fee.
