STAFF and pupils at the Cotswold School set tongues wagging after dressing up as characters from a popular doggie tale.

They donned fancy dress and took on the roles of Cruella de Ville from 101 Dalmatians and other characters from literature, screen and stage to celebrate World Book Day.

Henry Priestman, a musician, composer and member of 80s band The Christians, dropped in as a guest speaker while Chloe Lees entertained in the library with her storytelling skills. Richard Owens, Times correspondent and author, also inspired sixth form historians and language students.
