PEOPLE in Stow are being asked to give their views on proposals for three up-coming developments.

Stow Town Council is holding a public meeting tomorrow (Friday) at St Edward’s Hall from 7pm to 9pm to find out what the community thinks about the developments.

They will be able to hear about each proposed development, make comments and ask questions.

There are currently three large developments proposed for Stow, with the latest proposals from developer Bovis Homes, which is proposing to build up to 160 homes on land off Oddington Road.

Other developments include a care home which could provide homes for more than 100 elderly people and the redevelopment of former care home Ashton House.

Councillor Chris Turner, who is organising the meeting, said: “We want to find out or gather what the public response or feeling is before we put our comments forward to CDC. They are all proposals but we are aware of them and we want to know what people feel, which is what we’re there for.”
