New choir in need of passionate vocalists

SINGERS are needed for a new community choir being formed as part of the Chipping Campden International Music Festival.

Members of the new choir, the Chipping Campden Festival Chorus, will work towards two concerts later this year and it is hoped they will be able to perform during the main May festival in future years.

Singers of all ages and abilities are welcome and previous experience is not necessary but a passion for singing and commitment is essential.

Rehearsals will be held from 7.30pm to 9pm on Wednesday evenings at Chipping Campden School hall, starting onWednesday, March 6.

Festival director Charlie Bennett said: “I do hope people will share our enthusiasm for this project and, better still, come along and join us.”
