YOUNGSTERS using the forest school at Charlton with Cropthorne Pre-School have been given a new toy.
A mini-tractor has been donated by John Deere suppliers Chris Tallis, based at nearby Hinton-on-the-Green, and is the latest addition to the children’s outdoor studies in the forest school.
Alison Davies, manager, said: “With a number of our children coming from farming backgrounds, tractors are a regular source of fun, promoting gross motor skills and encouraging role play outdoors.
“We value our contacts with local businesses and are very grateful for the help they can give us by enriching our children's experiences.”
