CHIPPING Campden has been hit by a spate of damage and break-ins over the weekend.

In the first incident, which happened at about 4am on Sunday, thieves removed a pane of glass from a gift and soft furnishings shop and stole about £117 from the till.

The second incident happened between 5am and 6am at the Cotswold House Hotel, in the High Street.

A small pane of glass at the back of the hotel was smashed. It is not believed that anything was taken.

A third incident occurred at the back of the One Stop Stores, High Street, between 10pm on Saturday and 6am on Sunday.

The door of a storage container was smashed but it is not believed that anything was taken.

The fourth incident happened between 6pm on Saturday and 10am on Sunday at St Catharine's Catholic Primary School, in Lower High Street.

A window of a shed at the back of the school was smashed but it is not thought that anything was taken.

In the fifth and final reported incident, a brick was thrown at a silver Ford KA, parked on Back Ends, and the windscreen smashed.

The incident happened at some point between 9.20pm on Saturday and 12.20pm on Sunday.

Police believe that the five incidents could be linked.
